30-Hour Famine
We'll be spending 30 hrs together at the church fasting, and learning more about the needs around the world. We'll be putting together practical service projects during that time.
We will break fast after church with a church-wide luncheon

June 10th- last night of youth group for the year

Well it's not quite winter yet- but we're looking ahead to it!

Ministry Teams-
We are working on two Christmas presentations as well as large vocal.
Peace skit for 12/14 be there at 9:30
Large Vocal and O come Emmanuel for Christmas Eve- 12/24

December 20th 9-2pm
Children's Outreach at the Covenant Soup Kitchen.
Those who committed to help plan- start preparing/researching. We'll plan more Sunday at ministry teams.

Snow Camp money is DUE ASAP. $40 deposit now
$59 plus gas due in January
January 30-Feb 1st are our dates.
Still space for you and your friends!

New Years Eve Lockin- December 31st. Interested in helping plan? See Elisabeth

$20 deposit due
$18 plus transportation money due the day of Superbowl
You must have a medical release filled out to go

4. Operation Christmas Child
Packing boxes Friday, November 7th at 6pm
Snacks provided
Start collecting gently used toys, or new hygeine products for children
We also need shoe boxes
Ask your friends and family for gift donations that we can include

5. Church Annual Dinner and Talent Show

6. Snow Camp- January 30-February 1st
$40 deposit due November 5th
$59 plus transportation due January 28th
Health form must be completed (medication requires doctors signature- don't wait until the last minute)

New Year starts September 10th

Hey gang-
What a summer we have had! You were all just simply amazing! VBS was awesome, Fusion was great, the Work Week was unforgettable, we had a blast at the Pool Party and Get Real was so challenging! Thanks for making this a summer to remember. We love being with you and getting to know each of you so much better!

Youth Group starts Wednesday, September 10th 6:30-8:30pm

Our first major event will be Friday, September 11-12th. Our roof is in need of replacement. The church will be coming to fix it but there is plenty that we can do too! We will need willing hands to haul away the old roof and bring in the new shingles on Saturday. When we have times, we'll get them out to you. Plan Friday evening and all day on Saturday. If they have more than enough workers- we may work on some projects inside the building too.

Mark your Calendar!
Youth Emphasis Weekend- October 10-12th.

Friday, October 10th will be our STORM. Start thinking and praying about who you'd like to invite. We'll get times/details to you soon. We'd like to present the radio puppet show and a drama this night.

On Saturday, October 11th- we'll have a Coffee House with area youth groups. Plan to be around for most of the late morning through evening. We have a team coming from WOL and we want to spend as much time with them as possible. Start thinking about what you'd like to share at the coffee house and who you'd like to invite. We will try to present a drama this night too.

On Sunday, October 12th- the Large Vocal Group is singing special music in church so plan to be there too.

We are still putting together our fall/winter plans. If you have suggestions- let a leader or youth council member know.

Quiet Times are available- give TIM $24.00 Checks payable to Calvary Chapel
This QT will be SPIRAL BOUND with all you need for lesson times as well as the daily commentary and your verse pack. We will order NIV unless you want something else.

June 11th- Last "official" night of Youth Group
We'll be saying thank you to our church/parents for all their help.
YOU are leading the meeting- don't forget to invite your family!
We'll be honoring our grads and enjoying a year end review!

Every Sunday- Ministry Teams are meeting from 6-8:30pm
Come join drama, large vocal, puppets, small vocal etc...
There is something for everyone!!

Saturday, June 21st- Superhero Party!
Come dressed as your favorite superhero
Lots of games, food and fun!

Sunday, June 22nd- Graduation Honors at Church
